Interview 3: Dusky Blogger F1

The blogger on twitter known as "dusky blogger F1" really helped me understand blogging and writing when i was just starting out. It was one of the first F1 blog's i saw. It really impressed me and made me attempt to do better, but only you can be the judges of that.

The 3 part interview series comes to an end. I really wanted to see unique views from different people's viewpoints as F1 fans. We all have that thing in common but have such different views. It comes to an end now and thank you to all 3 of the people who i interviewed.

Here is the last part of my 3 part interview series:

1) What an amazing season, what has been your main highlight which has stood out above all the rest?

Hard to say; despite most people heaping praise on Vettel and Button, it was not the most exciting season because Vettel's dominance made it boring after a while.

2) If you had to give the award "driver of the season" to some one, who would it be?

Paul di Resta: Top Rookie - Held his own against more established drivers

3) The Grand Prix's have been a mix of predictable, mad and dramatic, what would you say has been the best race this season and why?

Best race: Has to be Abu Dhabi. Not for entertainment factor but because it was a win Lewis Hamilton desperately needed after having such a rotten season

4) If you could combine 3 sectors from all the tracks of the 2011 season together, which sectors would you choose and why?

Cant speak of Sectors but parts of tracks I like are Eau Rouge (Spa), Copse (Silverstone) and "The Tunnel" (Monaco)

5) What is your view on the new 2011 features? DRS, KERS and Pirelli?

KERS is not new for 2011 but I like it.
DRS - most people dont like because it makes overtaking easier but I don't have a problem with that. The best overtakers can do it with or without help. Pirelli Tyres have been tricky to judge whether I like them or not: Button is said to manage his tyres well and it's worked out well for him this season. But on the other hand, Q3 has become a farce, with only 6-7 drivers participating to conserve tyres....

6) Do you think the new features have been successful and proved their purpose?

I suppose they all combine to make races a bit more interesting

7) With so many rumours surrounding the driver market, if you had to choose a driver to leave F1 and a driver to come into it who would they be?

Leave: Schumacher (too old and already retired once)
Come in: Jean Eric Vergne

8) Firstly I am a big fan of your blog, what are the plans for the future and do you want this to be the start of a career?

Perhaps a "facelift" over the winter, ready for new articles/pages next year and maybe a competition offering prizes.

Thanks to everyone who took part, I will be doing a similar styled interview before the 2012 season starts.
