The 29th annual Auto Sport awards saw a large number of commendations and awards given to some of the best racing drivers and talent from around the country.

Here is the winners list:
British Club Driver of the year: Alex Lynn- Winner of the UK Formula Renault 2011 title
National driver of the year: Matt Neal - 2011 British Touring Car Champion
Rookie of the year: Paul Di Resta - Successful debut season in F1 with Force India
John Bolster award: Giam Paolo Dallara - leading engineer and founder of Dallara Automobili
Pioneering & Innovation award: The 2011 documentary film "Senna"
International Rally driver of the year: Sebastien Loeb - 2011 World Rally champion
Rally Car of the year: Mini WRC - Success in its debut WRC season
Gregor Grant award: Dan Wheldon - Successful Indy Car driver tragically killed this year.
                                : Damon Hill - Successfully been head of the BRDC since 2006
Racing Car of the year: Red Bull RB7 - Dominated the F1 2011 world championship
British competition Driver of the year: Jenson Button - 3 wins and a wide array of podiums in the 2011 F1 season.
International Racing Driver of the year: Sebastian Vettel - took a dominant back to back title in the 2011 F1 season.
