Valtteri Bottas says daily progress is being made as he continues to recover from a back injury that forced him to miss the Australian Grand Prix.
The Finn was deemed unfit to race by the FIA after developing back pain during qualifying for the F1 2015 season opener.
He was taken to the Albert Park Circuit Medical Centre after the session and was then transferred to the Albert Hospital in Melbourne for precautionary scans.
Williams later confirmed that he had suffered an annular tear in his lower back. Because he completed qualifying, setting the sixth fastest time in Q3, the team only raced with Felipe Massa.
Bottas is now working hard to recover from the injury and return to the track for round two of the 2015 season in Malaysia.
On Friday he said progress was being made and every day was a "good step forward", sharing a picture of himself training in a swimming pool on Twitter.
