Google+ Jack Leslie F1: Merry Christmas!

24 December 2014

Merry Christmas!

This is just a short post wishing readers of my blog a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Following such an intense and busy 2014, the festive season allows the F1 paddock to take some well-deserved time off before preparations for next year resume.

We were treated to a great Formula 1 season in 2014, with a close title fight and lots of fantastic racing.

However, there were some very tough moments, and my thoughts continue to be with Michael Schumacher and Jules Bianchi, as well as their families, as they recover.

2014 was a big year for my career, as I was able to attend three races - Austria, Germany and Hungary - for Richland F1. It was an amazing summer and I am incredibly thankful to have been given such brilliant opportunities.

A longer post reflecting on this year will go up on my blog in a few days, but it has been a great 12 months. I have learned a lot and met so many great people. I'm really proud of what I have achieved.

I also started studying Journalism at the University of Westminster in September. Living away from home and on my own has been tough at times, but I am enjoying the challenge and it all seems to be going well. It is nice to return home and be reunited with my family for a bit of time off over the festive season.

Thank you so much for the support and interaction throughout 2014, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. Bring on 2015!
