Michael Schumacher remains in a "stable" condition in hospital, his long-term manager has confirmed.
Sabine Kehm also stressed that unofficial reports and speculation should be ignored, before adding that the seven-time world champion's family are "happy and confident" with the efforts of his doctors.
The F1 legend remains in a medically-induced coma following a skiing accident in the French Alps on December 29th.
The statement from his manager is the first news that we have heard on his condition in over a week, with the last update saying he was considered "stable" but still "critical."
Following fresh speculation on his condition, Kehm released a statement on Friday confirming that he remains in a "stable" condition, but his condition was not listed as critical - which is positive news.
"Unfortunately I have to repeat that any information regarding Michael's health not coming from the doctors treating him or from his management must be treated as pure speculation," she said.
"I also repeat that Michael's family is very happy and confident with the work of the team of doctors treating Michael, and they trust them completely. Michael's condition is still considered as stable."
He remains at the Grenoble University Hospital in France. Authorities last week gave an update on their investigation into his accident.
My thoughts, as always, remain with Schumacher and his family and friends, and I wish him a speedy recovery.
