Fernando Alonso has emerged as the highest paid driver in motorsport.
The Spaniard was revealed as the worlds highest paid motorsport star by business magazine Forbes, with Lewis Hamilton coming second in the list.
The Ferrari driver reportedly makes $30 million per year, including $2 million in personal endorsements from the likes of Santander and Oakley.
Lewis Hamilton, who moved from McLaren to Mercedes for the 2013 season, is in second place and earning $27.5 million per year - including $1.5 million in personal endorsements. The 28-year-old is followed by NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Junior at $26 million.
Next up is another American from the world of NASCAR, Jimmie Johnson, on $24 million. Six-time Moto GP champion Valentino Rossi is next on the list at $22 million with Tony Stewart next up $3.5 million behind the Italian.
According to Forbes, triple world champion Sebastian Vettel earns $18 million per year. This is slightly less than NASCAR's Jeff Gordon.
Female driver Danica Patrick - who currently races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series - is slightly behind Vettel with $15 million.
This is $1 million more than 2009 Formula 1 champion Jenson Button - who could be on course for his worst season in F1 since 2008.
