The JackLeslieF1 Blog is proud to announce an exclusive
collaboration with Britain’s leading female racing driver, Alice Powell.
Powell Post will be a monthly feature exclusive to the
JackLeslieF1 Blog, where Alice will guide you through her 2013 season and give
an insight into how to make it as a racing driver through a series of blog
posts.
It’s an exciting new feature, following on from last years
“Dino’s Diary”, a similar feature looking at Anglo-Italian racer Dino
Zamparelli’s year in Formula 2.
Powell has succeeded in every level of motorsport she has
entered so far, impressing in karting, scoring podium finishes in Ginetta
Juniors, winning the Formula Renault BARC championship and scoring points in
her debut season in the highly regarded GP3 series.
Alice has kick started many records, including the first
female to win a Formula Renault championship and the first female to score
points in GP3. Despite the lack of female racers, Alice is ready and determined
to change that and make it to F1. Many regard her as a future star on track,
but it takes huge amounts of work to become a success in motorsport. Powell Post will not only focus on her on
track achievements and past career, it will also give an exclusive look in to
the hard graft, effort and determination needed off track to make it.
The Blog will be posted at the end of each month, detailing the past few weeks and giving insight in to her career and her year.

Speaking about the new column on the JLF1 Blog, she said “I
decided to do the blog as I think it is great for the public to have an inside
view on what I get up to and what really goes on in motorsport. It will also be
some great PR for me, my sponsors and the JLF1 Blog itself!”
Talking on the latest feature on the blog, Jack Leslie said
“It is great to have Alice on board; she is one of the brightest young talents
in the feeder series. It is also great to give fans and readers an insight in
to a sport that always seems to have its barriers raised; only the lucky few
get to really see how it works. I’m really excited about working with Alice on
this project and feel it will hugely benefit both parties.”
