The world council had a meeting on Wednesday and decided despite a car bomb attack on the British embassy in Bahrain on Sunday and possible financial problems in the US those races are still going ahead.

Bahrain was cancelled in 2011 due to the conflict in the country, and even industry insiders are predicting it to be cancelled. The US track in Texas paid the contractual money that Bernie Ecclestone decided on the 7th December and it looks like track development will re-start.
