*Jenson Button took to the streets of Roggel in the Netherlands, entertaining a crowd of up to 6,000 people. He was driving the 2008 championship winning Mclaren car and said it was a "Great day" before admitting to going 165mph down the high street, stating the experience was " a buzz".

* Sauber's Sergio Perez will drive a 2009 Ferrari at the race track Fiorano this week as part of his involvement in the teams young driver scheme. He will also be using the teams state of the art simulator at their Italian base. Perez is highly rated in the paddock as one of the stand out rookies, and is rumoured to be in with a chance of a Ferrari seat in 2013 when Felipe Massa's contract runs out.

* Bruno Senna has admitted that a "full learning curve" will take place in Singapore for the next race in the 2011 Formula One Championship, as well as revealing it is the track h "knows the least about". Senna is still getting over his impressive points finish in Monza, as well as his whirlwind debut for the Renault Lotus team in Belgium, classing it as "Brain boiling".

* BBC commentator for the Formula One, Martin Brundle, has dug up an interesting fact about the last race in Monza, stating it is the last time 5 world champions finished a race in the top 5 since the 1970 Mexico Grand Prix.

* Jenson Button has revealed he is turning all of his attention now on winning all of the remaining 6 races of the 2011 Formula One world championship after falling 117 points behind leader Sebastian Vettel. He was asked if the title was still possible, and simply replied saying "no chance". He also admitted that his drive for winning does not stop after the championship is lost, while also admitting that him and the team have 1 eye on this year, and the other on 2012. Button is now 3rd in the championship, ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton.

*Williams technical director Sam Michael is set to switch to the Mclaren team for the 2012 season after he is set to resign from his current team at the end of the season. Michael is said to be "extremely excited" about joining the fellow British team, with Mclarens team boss Martin Whitmarsh saying his "experience and expertise" will be a beneficial edition to the team. The next race in Singapore will be his last race with Williams, a team in which he said he has "fond memories" over the last 11 years, and wishes them "all the best".

* Kamui Kobayashi has invited survivors from the marsh tsunami and earthquake to the Japanese Grand Prix, the MJC ensemble girls choir from Fukushima will perform the countries national anthem before the race, and watch the race from a grand stand. Kobayashi is currently the only Japanese driver on the grid, and hopes the kids have an "enjoyable weekend".

* Michael Schumcher insists he did nothing wrong during the Italian Grand Prix after some bold defensive moves on Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton was stuck behind him for over 20 laps and was the victim of some bold blocks, weaving and even a push onto the grass. Schumacher believes that his driving was within the rules of the sport, and he would of been punished if it was too much, which he did not. Hamilton described it as "Just racing" after showing his tentative side, with half hearted lunges which maybe the old Lewis would of gone for, which has led him to be heavily criticised for recent performances.

* Tony Fernandes, owner of Team Lotus, has told press that he "would like" to see Karun Chandhok on the grid in the first Indian Grand Prix, but said its up to the team to decide. Chandhok raced earlier in the year at the German Go as well as participating in many practice sessions, and if he is elected he will be the second Indian on the grid, along with HRT's Narain Karthekayan.

* With 2 Lotus named teams in Formula One, it has to be narrowed down to 1 for 2012 with someone having to change, but the 'Team Lotus' team run by Tony Fernandes at Higham in Norfolk is the most likely, as Lotus could be buying into more of the ex-Renault team. It is likely Fernandes's team could use the Caterham or Air Asia brand, or both together, for 2012 but only time will tell.
