I was lucky enough to be asked by Car Throttle to attend the official reveal of Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing's AM-RB 001 hypercar.
The event took place at Aston Martin's factory in Gaydon, with the British manufacturer's workforce joining the media to watch the covers be lifted off the new hypercar.
Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo arrived at the reveal location in style, driving a Formula 1 car through part of the factory before helping to unveil the AM-RB 001.
Powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, the incredible piece of automotive design and technology is the vision of F1 design genius Adrian Newey, Aston Martin's chief creative officer Marek Reichman and chief of special operations officer David King.
More information on the car can be found in my Car Throttle reveal piece, which gives an overview of the details revealed so far by Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing.
After the reveal there was a Q&A with Newey, Reichman, King, Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer and Red Bull F1 boss Christian Horner, which gave further details.
Some specification info has been kept under wraps but this CT feature shares some of the additional things we learned about the AM-RB 001.
