Lewis Hamilton took a clear victory in Bahrain last weekend, with a charging Kimi Raikkonen in second place.
Racing under floodlights at the Bahrain International Circuit produced some stunning images. Here is the weekend in pictures.
Friday
Jenson Button suffered a disastrous start to his race weekend. A spin caused by an electrical issue forced him to miss most of FP1.
Raikkonen led a Ferrari 1-2 in first practice, with the Mercedes duo down in 15th and 16th, focusing on longer runs.
Nico Rosberg ended the session practice session at the top of the timesheets, from Hamilton.
Conditions were much more representative and useful compared to FP1, with much more running being completed.
Sebastian Vettel collided with Sergio Perez in the closing stages of FP2, bringing out the red flag. The Ferrari driver reported a brake issue.
Saturday
Hamilton was fastest in the final practice session on Saturday morning, which took place during the day and in very warm, windy conditions.
Daniil Kvyat's difficult 2015 continued with a spin at Turn 4. His car rolled backwards into the gravel and was beached.
Pastor Maldonado made a surprise exit from qualifying in the first segment, after suffering a power unit issue. He was joined in the drop-zone by Kvyat, Will Stevens, Roberto Merhi and Button.
After a positive FP3, Button was unable to set a timed lap in Q1 after pulling off track in the opening minutes.
Perez just missed out on a spot in Q3 and was joined by Felipe Nasr, Marcus Ericsson, Fernando Alonso - with McLaren's first Q2 appearance of the year - and Max Verstappen.
Hamilton stormed to a clear pole position in Q3, with Vettel denying Mercedes a front-row lock-out. Rosberg was third, with Raikkonen fourth.
The Williams duo were fifth and sixth, with Daniel Riccardo, Nico Hulkenberg, Carlos Sainz Jr and Romain Grosjean completing the top 10.
Sunday
As the sun set, the Bahrain Grand Prix got underway, with the top two retaining their positions into Turn 1.
Rosberg lost a position to Raikkonen on the first lap but quickly re-claimed the place back.
There were some great battles in the midfield throughout the Bahrain Grand Prix.
I'll just leave these amazing images of the sparks here for you to admire.
Hamilton emerged from his first pit stop just ahead of the battling Rosberg and Vettel.
Maldonado was handed a five-second penalty, which he took at his first pit stop, for being out of position on the grid.
An off-track excursion damaged Vettel's front wing and he was forced to pit for a third time to replace it.
It was a miserable day for Toro Rosso, with both Sainz Jr and Verstappen retiring from the race.
Massa had to start from the pit lane after failing to leave the grid for the formation lap. He made good progress initially, but struggled for pace due to damage.
Continuing electrical issues meant Button wasn't even able to make the race start.
Vettel dropped behind Bottas after his final stop and couldn't find a way through, struggling with the rear of the car out of the slow corners.
Hamilton crossed the line over three seconds clear of Raikkonen to take the Bahrain Grand Prix victory.
Rosberg completed the podium after, like Hamilton, suffering brake issues in the closing stages.
Behind Bottas and Vettel, Ricciardo was sixth, but only just. His engine failed as he crossed the finish line.
Grosjean was seventh, ahead of Perez and Kvyat. Massa completed the top 10.
