2015 Jerez test in pictures

The opening winter test of the F1 2015 season took place from the 1-4 February at the Circuito de Jerez.

It was an intriguing four-day event, with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen setting the fastest lap. Here is the Jerez test in pictures.

Unlike last year, there were just two car launches on the first morning of the Jerez test. Mercedes was the first to unveil its 2015 challenger.

Sebastian Vettel set the fastest time on day one of the Jerez test, with a 1:22.620. Meanwhile Nico Rosberg completed the most laps with 157.

The Honda-powered McLaren MP4-30 managed just six laps on day one, with several power unit problems costing the team time out on track.

Following a delay, the Lotus E23 Hybrid made its on-track debut on the second day of testing. Meanwhile Vettel remained at the top of the timesheets.

Daniil Kvyat's first day driving a Red Bull car didn't go particularly well. An early error damaged the team's only front wing available, meaning the Russian's running was limited to just 18 laps.

Despite a spin mid-way through the session, Felipe Nasr ended day three fastest.

McLaren enjoyed a more positive day, with Alonso completing 32 laps. However, a problem cut the team's day short.

Romain Grosjean sampled the E23 for the first time on Wednesday, but a power unit problem meant he was forced to sit out most of the afternoon.

Mercedes completed 516 laps at Jerez, the most of any team. Nico Rosberg topped the lap count for drivers with 308.
