New F1 2014 game trailer released by Codemasters

Codemasters has released a brand new F1 2014 gameplay trailer, ahead of the title's release in the UK on October 17th.

I recently had the chance to try out an early version of the game at Bandai Namco in London. New F1 2014 screenshots have also been released.

Verstappen to replace Vergne in Japan first practice

2015 Toro Rosso driver Max Verstappen will make his F1 race weekend debut in first practice for the Japanese Grand Prix, it has been announced.

The Dutch teenager will be replacing Jean-Eric Vergne for the session at the Suzuka circuit.

2014 Japanese Grand Prix Preview

After racing under dark skies and bright lights in Singapore, the F1 paddock will reconvene in Japan this weekend for the 15th round of the 2014 season.

It will be the 30th Japanese Grand Prix to appear on the Formula 1 schedule and the 26th to take place at the iconic Suzuka circuit. 

F1 2014 Game: First Impressions

On Friday I visited Bandai Namco's UK base in London to try out a few soon-to-be-released video games, including F1 2014.

The title, which is the sixth Formula 1 game to be published by Codemasters, will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC from October 17th in the UK (other dates can be found here). 

A new chapter

As some of you may know if you follow me on Twitter, I recently moved to the University of Westminster to start a Journalism degree. 

It has been a hectic, emotional and nerve-wracking few weeks of getting prepared, moving in, getting to know everyone and everything and starting my course, but I am now starting to feel settled in my new location.

The Singapore Grand Prix was the 14th round of the 2014 season and was won by Lewis Hamilton, who recovered from a late final pit stop to finish 13.5 seconds ahead of Sebastian Vettel.

Bottas and Massa retained by Williams for 2015

Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas have been retained by Williams Martini Racing for the 2015 season, it has been announced.

Massa joined the Grove-based outfit at the start of the year, while Bottas has been part of Williams since 2010. He was the team's test driver for three years before being promoted to a race seat in 2013.

As always, Thursday was a busy day with drivers walking the track, completing media commitments and meeting fans. Meanwhile, mechanics and engineers prepared the cars for Friday's first practice session.

F1 2014 game - Sochi hot lap

Codemasters released a new F1 2014 game hot lap video today, this time showcasing the new Sochi Autodrom in Russia.

The street circuit will host this year's inaugural Russian Grand Prix. F1 2014 will be launched for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 17th.
