Bahrain will host its first day-night race, like Abu Dhabi, this year as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.

The five red lights will go out at the Sakhir circuit at 6pm local time (3pm GMT), starting under the setting sun and ending in darkness.

Floodlighting has already been installed at the 3.63-mile circuit. The 2014 calendar will now include three races that take place at night, with Bahrain and Abu Dhabi being day-night rounds and Singapore keeping its night race status -  starting at 8pm local time (12pm GMT).

Elsewhere, there are two new additions to the schedule this year. The Austrian Grand Prix returns for the first time since 2003 and will start at the typical European race time of 2pm (12pm GMT).

Meanwhile, the first ever Russian Grand Prix will take place this October and will start at 3pm local time - which is 11am GMT.

The third United States Grand Prix to be held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, will start one hour in comparison to last year's event, at 2pm local time (8pm UK time).

Just a quick note for UK readers, the clocks go forward an hour on March 30th, so races after that date but before October 26th will start an hour later than GMT times shown below.
