Codemasters have been pretty busy recently. Their latest Formula 1 game offering for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC - F1 2013 - was released on the 4th October and now they have brought the sport to iOS platform.
'F1 Challenge!' is a brand new app created by Codemasters that gives you the chance to experience Formula 1 on the go. It can be downloaded for the iPad 2, iPhone 4S/5 and the iPod Touch 5 from the App store at the price of just £1.99.
In the game, players will be able to take part in 90 racing events and recreate thrilling moments from the 2012 Formula 1 World Championship.
It comes with the full 2012 grid, all 12 teams - including HRT - and all 20 circuits on last year's calendar. With slick touch controls, strong graphics and the ability to play wherever you are in the world, 'F1 Challenge!' is certainly the one of the best racing App's for tablet and smart phones.
The game has been specially developed for quick-fire racing on the go. There are a range of different modes for players to choose from including time trials, duels, chase the ace, race events and short Grand Prix challenges.
As you progress through the game, in-game Formula 1 facts and trivia will be unlocked. Control wise, the game works for both left and right handed players and requires touch to steer and a simple tab for KERS.
It is available now on the App Store at the price of £1.99. Check out the official trailer for Codemasters brand new addition to the Formula 1 game franchise below:
