The F1 2013 Calendar has changed slightly to accommodate another race.
Race numbers went down to 19 after the New Jersey Grand Prix was postponed, but now the FIA are looking at adding another European race.
The changes to the calendar have moved the German Grand Prix forward a week, creating a three week gap. This gap looks set to host a new or returning Grand Prix, rumours suggesting the Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park or a return to Austria at the Red Bull Ring.
The German event will now run on the 7th July. Bernie Ecclestone is keen for F1 to return to Turkey. The circuit is loved by drivers but spectator numbers steadily decreased after its debut in 2005. There were also announced changes to the rules by the FIA.
The plan for all cars to run on electric power in the pit lane has been postponed to 2017. Changes to the DRS system reported in November have also been confirmed. This means drivers will no longer be able to use the device whenever they like in practice and qualifying, instead the sole area for DRS over the whole weekend will be in the designated race zone.
Other technical changes include a slight increase in the maximum car weight to make room for the heavier 2013 Pirelli tyres and more stringent and strict front wing deflection tests.
The final change is that the Thursday curfew will be extended from six to eighth hours and only two exceptions will be made over the season, instead of the four used this season.

Austria red bull ring?? is that the old A1 circuit?
Yes Neil, Red Bull purchased the A1 Ring so it is now known as the "Red Bull Ring" :)
It would be great to see the French GP back.
