The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is fast approaching, so its title sponsor Etihad Airways has used the latest technology to create an interactive, game like track guide.
Etihad Airways have launched this project to get fans more involved and closer to the track, so they know more about the circuit they are watching the F1 cars lap. Watch videos, read statistics, flick through pictures and get to know the corners, by the end of it you will have a brilliant basic knowledge of Yas Marina's race circuit.
This fun piece of technology informs the fans on the unique and exciting features of the Yas Marina circuit, for example did you know that 14 thousand builders were employed to construct the circuit.
While weaving through Yas Marina's challenging corners, you can stop at certain points to read the facts and figures. They will often contain useful links to interesting pages. For example clicking on the link "which grandstand is right for you" on the second stop point will take you to a page on booking tickets and specifying the different grandstands.
Other interesting stop points include one dedicated to Ferrari World, home of the worlds fastest roller coaster, and the Entertainment page outlining the headlining acts of the special Abu Dhabi F1 concert.
F1 fans can also watch videos of an F1 2 seater car driving around the track, insight into the stunning Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi hotel and a look at the Marina, which is usually littered with multi-million pound yachts come an F1 weekend.
