Many F1 drivers change their helmet designs to commemorate a specific race on the calendar, or if you are Sebastian Vettel you can change it for every race.
Fernando Alonso has debuted his special 2012 Monaco Grand Prix helmet design, replacing the red and blue with gold and white. It has the Cross of the Angels, which appears on the flag of his home region of Asturias, and an illustration of the Ferrari 158 which John Surtees took to the 1964 title.
It also contains a number of his personal statistics to show off to his less successful rivals, ehm Felipe Massa, including his 2 Monaco GP wins in 2006 and 2007.
