Jolyon Palmer has confirmed that he will drive for Lotus in first practice for the Bahrain Grand Prix.
It will be the Englishman's second outing in FP1, after he made his Formula 1 race weekend debut in China.
The 2014 GP2 champion finished 15th in the session, after completing 25 laps of the Shanghai International Circuit. Despite an early spin at Turn 8, he was pleased with his performance.
Palmer joined Lotus in January as the team's reserve driver for the 2015 season and sampled the Mercedes-powered E23 Hybrid for the first time on day two of the second pre-season test.
He will drive the car once again at the Bahrain International Circuit next weekend, confirming the news on Twitter.
