The Grove-based outfit enjoyed a successful 2014 season, returning to the front of the field and finishing third in the constructors' championship.

Andrew Murdoch, previously Felipe Massa's race engineer, has been promoted to Senior Performance Engineer. He will also lead the Performance Group at the factory and will focus on Valtteri Bottas's car at the circuit.

Robson, previously Jenson Button's race engineer at McLaren, takes over from Murdoch. Jonathan Eddolls remains race engineer to Bottas.

Carl Gaden, who joined Williams in 1988 and has been chief engineer for 22 years, has been promoted to Senior Car Systems Engineer. He will be replaced by Mark Pattinson, who used to be Massa's number one mechanic.

"Off the back of a great 2014 campaign Williams is determined to continue this positive momentum into the new season, and these recent changes show our commitment to that goal," said Chief Technical Officer Pat Symonds.

"We are proud to be able to promote our existing talent to help strengthen every area within our engineering team and we will continue to invest in new talent where necessary to ensure we have the support and resources to achieve our on-track ambitions throughout 2015 and beyond.

"Our engineering team for the coming season is looking strong and I’m excited to get the new season underway."
