Formula 1's tyre supplier Pirelli has announced the compound nominations for the final three races of the 2014 season.
The confirmation was made ahead of the 16th round of the year in Russia. The soft and medium tyre compounds will be used at the Sochi Autodrom this weekend.
Following the sport's first race in Russia, the F1 circus will travel to Texas for the United States Grand Prix. The yellow-marked soft and the white-banded medium tyres will be taken to the Circuit of the Americas.
According to Pirelli, the compounds will be well suited to the varying demands of the track. It will be the seventh time that this combination has been used in 2014.
The orange-marked hard and the medium compounds will be taken to the Brazilian Grand Prix, due to the high energy demands and rough asphalt of the Interlagos circuit.
Meanwhile the season finale in Abu Dhabi - which is worth double points - will see the yellow-marked soft and red-banded super-soft compounds used.
This is due to the smooth track surface at the Yas Marina Circuit and decreasing ambient temperatures, as the race takes place in the evening.
