McLaren Mercedes has unveiled their 2014 Formula 1 challenger, the MP4-29.
The car is the first to be officially launched following image reveals of the Force India VJM07 and Williams FW36 earlier in the week.
Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen will drive the car this season, with Stoffel Vandoorne as the team's reserve driver. It is a driver line-up full of promise, with the contrast of the most experienced driver on the F1 grid and an exciting young rookie.
The MP4-29 is the last McLaren to be powered by Mercedes, with the partnership set to come to a close at the end of 2014 after 20 years. The team will then rekindle their relationship with Honda in 2015.
It is also the first McLaren car to be powered by a turbocharged engine since the incredibly dominant MP4/4 from the 1988 season, driven by Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.
Their latest car is also the first since 2006 to not feature branding from title sponsor Vodafone after their deal came to an end last year. They have yet to announce a replacement, although they are thought to be in discussions with several big brands.
The MP4-29 now sports a grey and black livery, with a slight splash of red with the McLaren logos. However, there's plenty of empty sponsorship space which makes the livery look empty and a bit dull.
It features the usual thin nose tip, which is to fit with the new regulations, large air intakes for cooling, a central pylon to support the rear wing and very skinny sidepods due to the move to one single exhaust pipe that exits under the rear wing.
Also, the team has reverted back to push-rod suspension after one unsuccessful year with the pull-rod system. For more information on the car, including technical specifications and a 360 degree look, go here.
Here are some videos released by the team, with thoughts from sporting director Sam Michael, their two race drivers and managing director Jonathan Neale:
