The 2013 season has been one of the longest in Formula 1 history and has produced some highly dramatic racing, partly due to the less durable Pirelli tyre compounds.
F1's sole tyre supplier got through an incredible 25,700 tyres this season alone. Here are some more interesting statistics from the Italian manufacturer.
After a 10 year break, Pirelli returned to the sport in 2011 following Bridgestone's decision to withdraw at the end of the previous year.
Between 2011 and 2013, they have supplied F1 with 112,200 tyres and of these, 93,600 have been used for races and 18,600 for testing. A total of 33,200 tyres were supplied to teams in 2013 alone.
All 112,200 tyres supplied to the sport have been recycled. Meanwhile 3,019 pit stops have been completed during Pirelli's three-year stint in F1 so far - 58 of which were drive-through penalties and nine stop and go.
The highest number of pit stops recorded during a race was at the 2011 Hungarian Grand Prix with 88 trips through the pit-lane for the 24-car field. The fastest stop was at this year's United States Grand Prix where Mark Webber's Red Bull mechanics changed all four tyres in 1.923 seconds.
3,274 overtaking manoeuvres have been completed since 2011, 985 of which took place in 2013. The highest speed recorded this season was 341kph (210mph) at the Italian Grand Prix by Esteban Gutierrez. Sebastian Vettel completed the most laps of anyone en route to his fourth world title: 684.
The lowest track temperature in which the Pirelli tyres have raced in 2013 was 17 degrees centigrade at the British Grand Prix. The lowest track temperature in which the tyres have been driven in was six degrees centigrade at the first winter test in Jerez.
In contrast, the track temperature at the Hungarian Grand Prix was 54 degrees centigrade - the hottest of the year. Ambient temperature was at its lowest at the United States Grand Prix, 14 degrees, and at its highest in Bahrain: 36 degrees.
81 drives in total - including young drivers and test/reserve drivers - have driven in the Pirelli tyres since 2010. Here are most statistics:
