The stars of the motorsport world were on hand to celebrate the best drivers and cars of the 2013 season. Of the 12 awards, eight were voted by the public and four were decided by the magazine, experts and/or professionals.

Sebastian Vettel took home the big 'International Racing Driver of the Year' award, winning it for the fourth consecutive season after a dominant 2013 Formula 1 campaign. The German was on fine form in his acceptance speech, even impersonating FIA president Jean Todt.

Lewis Hamilton - who couldn't make the awards - and Jules Bianchi were also winners from the F1 world after being voted as 'British Competition Driver of the Year' and 'Rookie of the Year' respectively by the public.

Red Bull Racing took the 'Racing Car of the Year' award for the RB9. McLaren was given the 'AUTOSPORT John Bolster Award' for 50 years of technical excellence. Niki Lauda and John Surtees were both given 'AUTOSPORT Gregor Grant' awards for lifetime achievement.
