The 2003 Brazilian Grand Prix was one of the most chaotic races in recent F1 history. Rain showers caused a number of high-speed crashes, particularly at turn three, but it was a huge smash for Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso hitting the debris late in the race which caused it to be stopped.

This sparked confusion over who had actually won the race. Kimi Raikkonen was handed the win on the day but it was later found that Giancarlo Fisichella, in the Jordan, was the real winner.
