Lewis Hamilton seemingly had a bit of brain fade in Malaysia, perhaps it was that humidity and hot weather?
The Brit pitted for his first of four stops and did a "Jenson" as he latter described it, pulling in to his former team McLaren's pit box. Was someone feeling a bit homesick?
Hamilton soon realised that he was in the wrong box and swiftly exited to locate the Mercedes bay, but it certainly provided some amusement amongst both the F1 fans and paddock.
Jenson Button previously made a similar mistake at the 2011 Chinese Grand Prix when he pulled in to the Red Bull pit box instead of McLaren's.
Hamilton went on to finish the race in third place, although he thought his team-mate Nico Rosberg deserved to stand on the podium. The German felt he was faster in comparison to his team-mate but Ross Brawn gave him the no go for attempting an overtake, saying he wanted the cars to come home and maintain their double points finish.
Nico agreed but said over team radio "remember this one." Lewis was obviously not happy at the clear showing of favouritism towards himself and felt Rosberg deserved the podium more than him.
The pit stop blunder lost Lewis crucial seconds which would have made his race slightly easier, but the Brit finished some way off the controversial Red Bull pairing.
