Sky Sports F1 say "Just Drive"

The Sky Sports F1 channel have unveiled their title montage and music. The song is "Just Drive" by Alistair Griffin, taking on the ever popular "The Chain" used by the BBC.

The film montage is of a number of iconic F1 events from 32 different races held between 1950 and 2011. There is then an ending title with the Sky Sports F1 logo and a graphic moving around Sebastian Vettel in his Red Bull, before ending. It is around 42 seconds long.

In my opinion, they re-recorded the song and they should of added some "edge" or more "aggressive" element to make it sound more exciting. It is a good song, i am not saying that, but F1 is fast (up tempo) and loud (Rock vibes) so it could of been re-made to be more like that.

The montage has some stunning images, i just feel that it could of been presented differently. They could of had some cool image transitions between clips and some kind of graphics to create excitement, even using special effects on some video's or something. I am a big fan of the channel as a whole but i feel the video is too safe and does not have a fast pace. A faster montage of loads of stuff all at once would of been more "F1".
