BBC reveal full F1 2012 line up

The BBC have revealed their full line up for the F1 2012 season. The broadcasting channel will show half of the races live and will use evening highlights to fill in audiences on the ones they have missed.

We all knew that Jake Humphrey, Eddie Jordan and David Coulthard would be staying along with Ben Edwards who was confirmed as the BBCF1's lead commentator. To replace Ted Kravitz after his move to Sky Sports will be former F1 car designer Gary Anderson. The other change comes from James Allen who has been appointed as the BBC radio 5 lives's F1 commentator, while Jennie Gow will join as pit lane reporter for 5 live, replacing Natalie Pinkham.

The new arrivals all have large amounts of experience in their assigned area's. Ben Edwards has been commentator for channels like Eurosport and Sky, and most recently commentated for ITV on the British Touring Car series. Anderson has 13 years of experience as a technical director for the likes of Jordan and Jaguar. James Allen was the head commentator for ITV after Murray Walker's retirement up until the BBC took hold in 2009. He is an experienced F1 journalist as well as commentator. Jennie Gow has worked for 5 Live as an F1 reporter as well as for the BBC with MotoGp.

Are these new arrivals to the team good additions? What will be the good things they bring and contribute? Comment your thoughts below.
