Di Resta enters his 2nd full year in Formula 1 this year after impressing in 2011, showing intelligence and speed. Hulkenberg has been the team's reserve driver for the last year, eagerly waiting on the side lines for his chance. And here it is.

Di Resta spoke about this confirmation saying "I’m really looking forward to my second season of Formula One and continuing to grow and develop with Sahara Force India," while Hulkenberg followed that up by stating "I’m obviously delighted to be staying with Sahara Force India and to be given the chance to race next year," and confessing "it wasn't easy watching from the sidelines".

This however does leave Adrian Sutil to join the F1 unemployed list, joining the likes of Jamie Alguersuari, Sebastian Buemi and Jerome D'Ambrosio, but we will have to see how it develops over the next week.
