The Japanese Grand Prix is looming, and with the weekend already beginning there are a number of stories in the F1 world, and I have them here..
Click 'Read More' below to see the full low down..
*Teams are smelling something fishy coming from Red Bull, after Mark Webber's car was lifted up by a crane in the Italian Grand Prix, exposing the possibility of a flexible floor. Teams are also wondering how they can produce their vast amounts of new parts, with the budget limited to all teams.
*Sebastian Vettel does not want to wait around to be crowned, but with just 1 point to score that is highly likely. He says he wants to "wrap up" the title this weekend, with fellow German Michael Schumacher revealing Vettel will "take as much pleasure" wrapping up the title early than he did last year, in the final race.
*The Multi-year contract Jenson Button has signed is rumoured to be worth £50million, and it is understood the deal could be as much as 4 years. This would see the 31 year old to the later end of his Career, giving him other options in the future.
*Ferrari's Fernando Alonso has set his sights on 2nd place in the championship, but states that with Ferrari's recent pace compared to Jenson Button, Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton it is going to be tough, but says it is not over and required perfect races from him and the team.
*Mark Webber admitted earlier this week that his best bet at a title was 2010, were he ended up 3rd. He however has not given up all together, saying he will keep fighting in 2012.
*Rob Smedley, Felipe Massa's race engineer, has said he "does not recall" telling Massa to "destroy" Hamiltons race in the last race in Singapore, and that it had no relation to the following accident.
*The driver steward in Japan will be the 1980 world champion Alan Jones, the Aussie will be keeping a close eye on the drivers as they embark on one of the most technical races of the season.
*Paul Di Resta has spoken about Force India's title chances, saying 5th place is a "big ask" but they will not give up after recent strong outings, finishing a career best 6th in the last race.
*Last weekend saw 60,000 people watch Daniel Ricciardo drive an ex-spec Red Bull around the streets of Dheli in India ahead of its debut race later in the year.
*Numerous drivers including Kamui Kobayashi and Tonio Liuzzi will pay tribute to the victims of the Japanese Tsunami which occurred in May this year.
*Jaime Alguesuari released his debut Album last week, which has seen it perform best in Spain but has seen good sales in the UK too.
*Both Mclaren drivers think they will be "strong and on the pace" for this weekends Japanese Grand Prix with confidence high in the Mclaren camp. Lewis states its a track were you have to "drive in and attack" as Button also says he enjoys driving the track, as it requires a good rhythm.
*Sauber announced earlier last week they plan to bring numerous upgrades to the race in Japan in hopes to propel rising star Kamui Kobayashi into the points, after struggling in previous races.
* Another driver feeling confident of upping his pace in Japan is Bruno Senna after a quiet race in Singapore. "The low-speed nature of Singapore made it the worst circuit for us in terms of performance," the Brazilian said. "That hurt us a little bit, but with the updates that we have planned for Suzuka we should be strong there, and get both cars in the points again - that's where we belong."
*Both Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok took to the track today in FP1 ahead of their drives in India as they warm up for the event.
* Micheal Schumacher says points could be on the card in Japan but it will be a struggle to be the 4th best team in Japan, as he says the track does not suit the Mercedes.
